Harry is back and at the beginning of his 6th year at Hogwarts, but the school is no longer the sanctuary it once was. Lord Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the magic and the Muggle worlds, and Harry suspects that danger could even lie within the walls of Hogwarts. Desperate to discover Voldemort's Achilles' heel, Harry helps Dumbledore persuade Horace Slughorn, who they believe holds the vital information needed to defeat Voldemort, to return to the school and help rid both worlds of the evil wizard for good.
